Aaron Valuation Inc. consists of Amanda Aaron MAI, CRE, a team of staff appraisers and a support staff. Aaron Valuation’s staff includes three appraisers with the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, five New York State Approved Supervisory appraisers and four New York State Certified General appraisers.

Amanda Aaron, MAI, CRE has over 20 years’ experience valuing real property in the New York Metropolitan Area. Known for careful attention to detail and client service, Aaron appraisal reports are crafted to address the needs of each valuation problem. Ms. Aaron’s experience includes valuation of retail, office, industrial, multi-family residential including cooperatives and condominiums, affordable housing, mixed-use commercial, land and proposed construction.

Amanda Aaron is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), a New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and a New York State Supervisory Appraiser.

Ms. Aaron has served as either a party-appointed appraiser, a City-appointed appraiser or a neutral appraiser in appraisal matters for litigation, arbitration, condemnation, bankruptcy, divorce and tax certiorari purposes. Clients in legal matters have included the City of New York, landlords, tenants, developers, estates, and lenders. Ms. Aaron has been qualified as an expert witness by Kings County Civil Court, Kings County Supreme Court, U. S. Bankruptcy Court, U. S. District Court (Eastern District of New York) and the State of Vermont Superior Court.

Ms. Aaron was the 2020 President of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and served on the Board of Directors between 2013 and 2021 as member at large, Education Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and 1st Vice President. She has also served as an Appraisal Institute Regional Representative.

Ms. Aaron supervises both experienced and junior appraisers, performs peer appraisal review for a range of properties and regularly teaches courses for the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Courses include a state licensing course (Using the HP12C Calculator) and an Appraisal Institute Qualifying Education Course (General Appraiser Sales Comparison Approach).

All appraisal work conforms to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Code of Professional Ethics of the Appraisal Institute.

Aaron Valuation is a New York City and New York State Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).

    • Various portfolios of multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, including annual appraisal of two portfolios with over $1 billion of valued assets for international financial reporting.
    • Proposed condominium and rental developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn and recently completed properties including several luxury developments in Downtown Brooklyn, Long Island City and the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
    • Land and development sites in Lower Manhattan, Hudson Yards, Long Island City, Downtown Jamaica, Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Bedford Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, DUMBO, South Brooklyn and Bronx County, including several large-scale sites involving rezonings with Mandatory Inclusionary Housing requirements.
